| The coat color of the mouse is albino. The IRCF1 mouse colony is maintained as a hybrid colony. This hybrid is a product of mating male ICR mice with | female BALB/c mice. The IRCF1 mouse is often used as a replacement for the BALB/c in studies where the hybrid vigor is needed. |
